In February 2002 I began building custom decks in New Hampshire under my own name. Deck after deck was praised by homeowners and building inspecters alike. Time and again I was greatful to hear the phrase, "This deck is rock solid!"

Over time I decided to go with a company name that reflected the most trademark aspect of our business, Rock Solid Decks. Though this certainly has become the signature of our work, we're by no means one dimentional builders. There is far more than just stability in our decks. There is an astheatic element of artisan design and perfectionistic detail.

For us, a deck is not just a piece of construction. It is a place to enjoy the beauty of God's creation, the life of community, and a space to entertain family and friends out in the fresh air, whether under the warmth of the sun or the cover of stars.
